Amber Sherrill

Amber Sherrill is a Jacksonville, Florida author who has been telling stories since she was in the fifth grade. Although life led her down other paths, her passion for writing never faded. After five years of writing, revising, and bringing her vision to life, she published her debut psychological thriller, The Cat in the Woods, in 2025.

Known for creating atmospheric settings, compelling characters, and slow-building suspense, Amber writes stories that draw readers into worlds where secrets hide beneath the surface and nothing is ever quite as it seems. Her novels explore the darker corners of human nature while keeping readers guessing until the very last page.

In addition to writing, Amber painted the original artwork for the cover of The Cat in the Woods, combining her love of storytelling with her passion for art.

When she isn't writing her next novel, Amber enjoys spending time outdoors, finding inspiration in Florida's natural landscapes, reading, and connecting with fellow book lovers.
